Who's The Greatest Band In The Land?

This is a family and an amazing experience to be a part of! Performing with the color guard is something I will never forget! It’s so fun to be a part of something that is and will forever be a legacy and an organization that continues to excite our Red Raiders!

Being from New Mexico, I was nervous that I wouldn’t make a drumline as amazing as Tech’s. I didn’t let my concerns get in the way and went for it, as should anyone who is even slightly interested in trying out. My college experience has been defined by being a member of the line, or Zeta Iota Tau as we are called, and I couldn’t imagine where I would be without the friendships and memories that I have made so far! Don’t hesitate and join us for this upcoming season!

I initially joined Goin’ Band to meet new people. I have met some of my best friends through the Goin’ Band and have made memories that I will never forget. A few of my favorite memories include traveling to away games and preforming during pregame and halftime in front of a large and excited crowd. Goin’ Band truly is much more than a student organization, it is a family.

I marched in the Texas Tech Colorguard for 4 years, was a captain for the colorguard for 2 years of that, and then switched to trombone for my 5th year! Goin' Band was the most fun I had in college. The shows were difficult and fun, the trips are a blast, and that was where I met lifelong friends, and got to be a performer for some of my last years.
